Nomadic Design Studio represents a passion fostered by Robert Heynen. With formal training in fine arts & graphic design, he began designing web pages in the mid 90's. As the World Wide Web flourished and matured, Robert has actively been involved in web site design. His favorite tools of the trade include Apple's Aperture and software packages from Adobe Creative Suite 3: Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Acrobat, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, GoLive (cs1), & InDesign (cs1). He is comfortable working with xhtml, CSS, javascript, PHP, mySQL, and occasionally AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies. Besides mastering individual design tools, Robert has hands-on experience with some of the more popular Content Management System software packages available, including Drupal, Joomla, Plone, and Big Medium. Robert's main design philosophy is to "Keep it simple, make it work" and this belief is illustrated throughout his work.
